Lactation is a right. Every parent and child deserves the opportunity to be supported and educated in their lactation journey. This is my passion. Everyone's journey is different. There are exclusively breastfeeding couples, mixed feeding, initial breastfeeding only, exclusively pumping... Whatever your goal or situation, I am here to support your journey!
Thank you for letting me be a part of it.
I have breastfed all five of my children, four of which had lip and/or tongue ties. I've had to supplement, I've had to pump, I've been through teething, nursing while pregnant, and weaning. Beyond the education and work experience, I've got the personal experience.

If it weren't for the Lactation Consultant with my firstborn, I don't know that my breastfeeding journey would've lasted as long as it did. She was kind, supportive, understanding, compassionate, and knowledgeable. This is my goal for every family I visit. Education, assistance, compassion, support. Everyone deserves all of the above.

Beyond being a mother to 5, I have countless crafting hobbies, an unhealthy obsession with collecting house plants, and enjoy baking desserts rather than cooking healthy dinners way more than I should.
I have been supporting breastfeeding/chestfeeding parents in some shape or form for 15 years now. What started as my own journey through breastfeeding evolved into being a cheerleader for friends and family, to attending La Leche Meetings, becoming a leader, and working towards my IBCLC certification. Somewhere along the way I realized all this knowledge I had amassed could be helping so many more people.
I obtained my CLC in 2014, finished my Bachelors of Science in Maternal and Child Health: Lactation Consulting in 2018, and finally my IBCLC credential January 2021.

Oftentimes difficulties don't arise until parents are at home alone with their baby for the first time. What was going smoothly is now, sore nipples, difficulty latching, fussy babies, or just a ton of questions that they didn't think to ask their providers. That's where Lactation Consultants come into play.
